Final Spring 2022 Player Evaluation Schedule.xlsx
LRLL Families of our A, AA, AAA and Majors players,
We look forward to welcoming you to our mandatory Evaluation Day this coming weekend, additional details will be provided this week. Meanwhile, due to the ongoing surge in COVID-19 we wanted to inform you about the enhanced measures the league is taking to ensure a safe environment, as well as the nature of Evaluation Day.
Evaluation day consists of small groups of only six players who will be on the field at one time. Each player will individually take ground balls and fly balls, and for AA through Majors throw pitches, followed by a batting experience. While the other five players are awaiting their turn they will remain distanced from each other in designated waiting areas to avoid the need for any close contact. Therefore, the nature of Evaluation Day is inherently socially-distanced and of course outdoors which helps promote wellness and safety.
Although Little League Baseball requires every player to be evaluated prior to the draft, we realize some players may be impacted by COVID and the league will manage those situations as necessary. We look forward to seeing you on the field next weekend.
Sincerely,
Ladera Ranch Little League Board of Directors
